DNS Settings for Windows XP

Step 1: On your desktop, Right Click on My Network Places. Left Click on Properties

Step 2: In the Network Connections window, Right Click on your Local Area Connection. Left Click on Properties

Step 3: In the Local Area Connection Properties Window, use the vertical scroll on the right until you find Internet Protocol(TCP/IP). With that selected, Left Click Properties.

Step 4: In the Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) Properties, select the option "Use the following IP address." Your IP address, Subnet mask, and Default Gateway has been assigned to you by Ideaone Telecom. If you have not received your IP address, please call 356-6000.

Select the option "Use the following DNS server addresses." The Preferred DNS Server is 76.10.67.2. The Alternate DNS Server is 64.21.232.212.

Final Steps: Click OK in the Internet Protocol Properties, then Click OK in the Local Area Connection Properties. You can now close the Network Connections window and you should be ready to browse the Internet.

If you experience difficulty after following these steps,
please contact our Helpdesk at 701-356-6101.
